After the reorganization of the School of Agricultural, Biological, and Environmental Sciences in 2005, social conditions related to the farming and forestry industries have undergone a great transformation, and the roles that the agricultural sciences are expected to play have become more sophisticated and complicated. To accommodate these changes in these social conditions, the growth of the School of Agricultural, Biological, and Environmental Sciences ceased in 2017, and the About Department of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences was established. This department is developing education and research in the field of agricultural science by incorporating the latest developments in the fields of life science and environmental science.
