The Joint Department of Veterinary Medicine consists of 4 divisions: Basic Veterinary Sciences, Veterinary Pathobiology, Applied Veterinary Sciences, and Clinical Veterinary Sciences. Each division consists of 3 to 7 laboratories. The faculty members in these laboratories conduct research on various subjects of companion animals, livestock animals, experimental animals, and wild animals, and aim to produce persons who acquire the knowledge and skill set of veterinarians involved in the promotion of the health and welfare of animals and human beings.
