Our research projects are mainly focused on avian influenza virus as representative of avian zoonoses:
- Molecular basis for the generation of pandemic influenza viruses
- Surveillance of avian influenza virus in migratory birds
- Generation mechanism of highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses
- Participating in a project entitled gEpidemiological surveillance of avian influenza viruses in poultry in Vietnam after vaccinationh within the Program of Formation Research Centers for Emerging and Reemerging Infectious Diseases, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Technology, Japan.
